A summer of dizzying speculation culminated in a frantic 24 hours today, as Transfer Deadline Day arrived for Europe's major leagues.

Let me leave you with the news that Arsenal have signed Mikel Arteta from Everton—according to Sky Sports News.
The fee is rumored to be around £10 million.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has just talked to Sky Sports...
He said the Gary Cahill deal is NOT going to happen. He also wrote off the Kaka rumors and said it was unlikely Spurs would bring in anybody else now before the window shuts. Peter Crouch is currently working on a deal at Stoke, while Alan Hutton is talking to Aston Villa.

OUTRAGEOUS RUMOR ALERT! Suddenly Twitter is boiling over with speculation that Kaka could be joining Tottenham before the transfer window shuts.

DONE DEAL! David Ngog has completed his move from Liverpool to Bolton.

Craig Bellamy is edging closer and closer to a return to Liverpool.
