UFC 134 Live Results and Aftermath for Luiz Cane vs. Stanislav Nedkov

Tim McTiernan@tmt2393Correspondent IAugust 28, 2011

Stanislav Nedkov (12-0) remains undefeated as he is able to TKO Luiz Cane (11-4 [1 NC]) in the first round.

Most of the first round was rather pedestrian, neither fighter was landing anything massive, but Cane was certainly the aggressor, and he was controlling the center of the Octagon.

Cane threw a straight left and was countered by an overhand right from Nedkov. Cane then looked to run away and recover, but Nedkov didn't give him any room, and chased him halfway across the Octagon.

Then came the ground and pound, as Nedkov was able to finish off Cane as soon as the opportunity presented itself.

An impressive performance from Nedkov, as even though he was bloodied up, he was able to land a solid punch and finish off Luiz Cane in the first round.
