WWE News: Future Superstar Blasts John Morrison on Twitter
In the WWE, it's about getting noticed, right? Tyler Black did just that when he made news by taking a shot at current WWE Superstar John Morrison via Twitter.
In an original report by Steve Gerweck, it appeared that a fan asked Black, who now goes by Seth Rollins, if he was going to cut his hair or change his appearance in any way to look less like Morrison. Rollins responded to the fan in a way most people would call hostile.
“Hey stupid question asker, no. I had long hair first. I had a beard first. And I can outwork him any day of the week.”
The former Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion is the WWE's No. 1 prospect. Rollins has been wrestling for WWE's developmental promotion Florida Championship Wrestling for almost a year. Many fans believe the 25-year-old's stay in the minor leagues is long overdue and he should be making his WWE debut very shortly.
In a professional manner, Rollins later followed up on his comments about Morrison:
To clarify, @therealmorrison is an awesome dude and is great at what he does. I'm just very confident in myself and my abilities. #alllove
Morrison, who is well liked by the WWE Universe, has yet to address the situation. It will certainly be interesting to see what kind of action he'll take.
