Fantasy Football Rankings 2011: Top 10 Defenses
The Pittsburgh Steelers have the best defense in the NFL. Well, at least the best player with the best hair. But which defensive unit is the best choice for fantasy football? With the lockout a distant memory and preseason thankfully winding down, it’s time to take some serious time away from work and family and focus on something important: your fantasy draft.
One hidden gem in any draft is the right defense. The skill positions like QB, RB, and WR may be the glamour draft positions, but the right defense can consistently give you enough each week to make a 5-6 record go to 8-3 and the fantasy playoffs.
Which team is a turnover machine? Will Ed Reed have more pick-6s? Who’s got the most dangerous returner for some bonus points? Philly will score and has great corners; can they pitch some shutouts?
Bleacher Report’s Owen Clark has done the heavy lifting for you and taken care of your research for the top 10 defenses in the NFL for fantasy this year. Take a watch, and enjoy watching someone else overbid while you select the best value.
