South Carolina: Can Stephen Garcia Play Consistent Enough to Lead the Gamecocks
Stephen Garcia has all the potential to be a top quarterback in the SEC but he is very inconsistent. One game he'll throw for 235 yards and three touchdowns, the next he'll throw for 161 yards, one touchdown and one pick.
He threw for over 3,000 yards last year and 20 touchdowns but also managed to throw 14 interceptions. If the Gamecocks expect to make strides in the SEC, Garcia has to play much better.
He has great weapons around him including a top wide receiver in Alshon Jeffery and a 1,000 yard rusher and possible Heisman candidate in Marcus Lattimore.
Looking at Garcia's track record though, he is going to make mistakes. South Carolina fans just hope the mistakes don't cost them a trip to Atlanta.
