Friday was the night for Charlotte as the Bobcats won 104-96 with big help from Raymond Felton and Gerald Wallace. Charlotte snapped a two-game losing streak and picked up win number three on the season in another close game.

Raymond Felton helped Charlotte by leading them with 23 points, dishing out six assists, and picking up three steals. Teammate Gerald Wallace had 22 points and flirted with a double-double while he had nine rebounds, two assists, three steals, and a blocked shot.

The big man Emeka Okafor only had six points and seven rebounds. Off the bench, Adam Morrison had 15 points—he even sported a new haircut with his trademark mustache. Rookie D.J. Augustin had six points, four rebounds, and four assists.

Utah's leading scorer was Carlos Boozer, who had 26 points and 15 rebounds. Veteran Ronnie Price had 14 points of his own. Former Bobcat, Brevin Knight had eight points and four assists off the bench.

This win for Charlotte brings them to a record of 3-5, and puts them three games back of Atlanta—who is on a bit of skid. This win gives the Bobcats hope because they proved to be resilient without Jason Richardson who is averaging 17.6 points per game along with 2.9 assists. Richardson is out for a week with knee surgery.

The Bobcats play Orlando on Sunday in a Southeastern Division match up.
