David W. WaltersCorrespondent INovember 14, 2008

Gerald Wallace broke out his scoring slump and Raymond Felton helped guide the Bobcats (3-5) to a 104-96 win at Time Warner Cable Arena on Friday night. Wallace scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds while Felton chipped in 23 points and six assists as the Bobcats played well enough in the second half to beat Utah.

Sean May started the game and saw some playing time in the first half and responded with eight points and four rebounds but was limited in the second half and saw little action.

Adam Morrison continued his scoring off the bench with 15 points while shooting 3-5 from three-point range. Larry Brown has begun to play Morrison more at the end of games showing his growing confidence in the Gonzaga product.

Carlos Boozer had 26 points and 15 rebounds for the short-handed Jazz (6-3), who were without starters Deron Williams and Memet Okur and reserve forward Andrei Kirilenko.

Game notes: Ryan Hollins had five points, four rebounds, and two blocks after being activated in place of guard Jason Richardson who is on the injured list after having surgery on his knee...Richardson is expected to miss about a week after the exploratory procedure...Wallace scored 22 points after compiling only 30 points over his previous three games...
