Alabama followed their undefeated, national championship season with a disappointing 3 losses. Will 2011 be more like 2010 or 2009?

The Alabama Crimson Tide are one of the most storied programs in college football history.

Their most recent success was in 2009 when they went undefeated and beat Texas in the BCS National Championship.

The Tide have won seven other national championships, tying them with Notre Dame as the most in history. They’ve also made an NCAA-record 58 bowl appearances.

What could be a legendary defense will have to go through the toughest division in college football, the SEC West, where five of the six teams are ranked in the Top 25.

However, no one knows who the starting quarterback will be and that is always troubling for any team, especially one that received 17 first place votes in the preseason AP Poll.

Bleacher Report is dedicated to bringing fans of Alabama the best, most detailed and up-to-date news coming out of the conference. Check back regularly for more articles like the ones you’ll see below.
