Manchester City Agree Deal to Sign Arsenal Midfielder Samir Nasri

Manchester City have agreed a deal with Arsenal to sign French international midfielder Samir Nasri.

According to reports, Nasri will arrive at the Etihad Stadium today to finalize terms and undergo a medical

"Arsenal can confirm that they have agreed terms for Samir Nasri to move to Manchester City," reads a club statement at Arsenal's official website.

"The 24-year-old midfielder, who has spent three years with the Gunners, has been omitted from Arsenal's squad which flies to Udinese this afternoon and instead will travel north for a medical.

"The move will be subject to Nasri passing a medical and formal registration processes."

Confirmation of a deal ends months of speculation linking Nasri to a move away from The Emirates, and makes him the second high-profile midfielder to leave Arsenal this summer, following Barcelona's signing of Cesc Fabregas.

We don't know anything about the terms of the deal agreed yet, but details are sure to emerge in the coming hours.
