I have created my "dream team" of NBA players. Keep in mind that I have selected each of these players based on how they played (or are playing) in their prime.

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan only made the team because everyone would be angry if I made a theoretical dream team and didn't include him.

Oh, and he's the greatest basketball player of all time.

Lebron James

30 October 2008: LeBron James #23 of the Cavaliers during an NBA Basketball game won by the Cleveland Cavaliers 96-79 over the Carolina Bobcats.

Lebron's nickname is "King James." I figure this will get us some playing time in Europe.

Kobe Bryant

09 November 2008: Guard Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers turns to shoot the ball while being guarded by Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets during the second half of the Lakers 111-82 victory over the Rockets at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA

Kobe Bryant will be the drama queen of the team.

And also score 84 points per game.

Shaquille O'Neal

04 March 2008: Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O'Neal passes the ball against the Portland Trail Blazers during their NBA basketball game at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.

Shaq is here because he is huge and he's huge. His one and only job will be to get rebounds. Once in a while I'd like him to shatter the backboard.

Also his free throw shooting is known to be the best in the league.

Steve Nash

January 17, 2008; Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns during the game. The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by the final score of 106-98 at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, CA.

Steve Nash made the team because the other four guys are likely to be ball hogs. Steve Nash will run the point and distribute the ball to whoever has the fewest points so that they can all stay relatively even.

And he's Canadian.
