The Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) are once again facing an AFC North counterpart in the second week of their preseason preparations.

After manhandling the Baltimore Ravens last week, the Eagles will remain within Pennsylvania and travel to face the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1) at Heinz Field tonight.

The Steelers are coming off a disastrous showing against the Washington Redskins in their first game of the preseason. The starting defense didn't look interested, while few of the youngsters who the team were hoping would step up actually made an impression.

A veteran team such as the Steelers will likely be looking to bounce back this week, especially after their head coach made no effort to hide his displeasure.

The Steelers will be looking for a much better performance all around and should relish the prospect of facing a talented Eagles roster.

Despite already being crowned the offseason champions by most onlookers, Eagles head coach Andy Reid will understand that it means nothing until they get onto the football field.

The Eagles' defensive line was overpowering last week against a poor Ravens offensive line and they will be expecting more of the same against the Steelers.

The Steelers receivers should give the Eagles secondary a better test this week, despite the injuries to Emmanuel Sanders and Hines Ward. Antonio Brown, Mike Wallace and Jerricho Cotchery are fine replacements.

Offensively, all eyes should be on Danny Watkins and Ryan Harris, who both struggled in the opening game of the year. With a potential fire lit under the Steelers' starters from last week, the Eagles will get every possible chance to see where their offense really is.

I, Cian Fahey (@Cianaf), will be covering the Steelers, while Mike Burke will be giving you reaction to all the Eagles' storylines.
