Yet another Mizzou Basketball season where the Tigers choke.
They need to bring in a new coach; Mike Anderson just isn't cutting it.
As you may have heard, five of Mizzou's top players were suspended. Stephan Hannah, Darryl Butterfield, Jason Horton, Marshall Brown and Leo Lyons were each suspended indefinitely.
Hannah is most likely out for the rest of the season with a broken jaw after getting into a bar fight. The other four were also there during the altercation.
Mizzou is probably going to lose most of their games and will not be a contender in the Big 12.
Losing your best player just devastates your team.
Just imagine if last year, the Longhorns lost Kevin Durant for most of the season, they would have been nothing, or if this year's Kansas State squad lost Michael Beasley. Sure, Walker would be there to help, but Beasley is a key component to that team.
Well, Mizzou is becoming Baylor in the Big 12 and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
If the Tigers fire Mike A then maybe next year we would have a better chance to win some more games. But with him coaching, we will go nowhere.

I understand the frustration of fans, but you can hardly blame this situation on coach Anderson. It will take several more years to dig out of the abyss that Snyder and the University put Missouri's BB team in. I believe a rash "fire the coach" decision would do so much more to harm MU than sticking with him, letting him rebuild and repair the damage that Snyder, the University and Alden did to the MU BB system.

Definitely agree with Brent. Firing Coach Anderson would probably be the absolute WORST idea for this program. Anderson is coaching the recruits of Snyder...give the man a couple more years to see if HIS recruits will pan out.
Whos fault was it for breaking team rules? Is Anderson supposed to babysit these kids and make all their decisions for them? No....
He's doing the best he can with the talent that he has...
