Two losses to top three teams is nothing to sneaze at. One of the best teams this year in the best conference in the nation.

Trey Bradley #8
Loss was bad, but to the hottest team in the country at their place. If you seriously think Utah or Boise State deserves to be ranked ahead of this team, you're fooling yourself.
Jason Hackney #8
Look, the Cowboys have lost to two dynamite Big 12 teams. They cannot be punished that much.

yeah they lost, but dam their defense is good.

Is Tech that good or is OSU asleep at the wheel? I dont know....I would say Tech is that good.
Burgess Shaw #10

Their two losses were to number one teams. Can't say they aren't playing a tough schedule.

(8-2) Next Game: Saturday at Colorado

Mentally never came out of the locker room after half time in Lubbock. At least they showed up for one half of football.
Scott Pusich #13
(previous: 9) 8-2; lost to No. 2 Texas Tech 20-56 The margin of the loss is what leads me to place the Cowboys below No. 12 Missouri, despite having beaten the Tigers earlier in the season. Granted, they've only lost to teams that were No. 1 and No. 2 when they played them. In the pecking order of the Big XII South, though, the Cowboys are now fourth, and compared to Missouri, have much less of a shot at the Big XII title game or a BCS bowl.

This team has a whole lot of upside but got flat embarrassed last Saturday night when they let Texas Tech move the ball at will and put up 56 points.

If your only losses have come against teams ranked first and second in the country, you probably aren't too bad of a team.

Cowboys got lit up by Harrell and TTU. Need to shore up defense to avoid collapse.
BabyTate #15
Ahhh, good to see the Cowboys are back to their 100 year history of folding up when the money is on the line.
Jeff Johnson #15
After getting torn a new one by #2 Texas Tech, OSU drops six. While they're out of the title hunt, they still have to play #5 Oklahoma on 11-29 at home. Look for this rivalry game, aptly named Badlam, to get ugly from the fist whistle.
Brad Shipley #16
Ron Johnson #17
The Cowboys have lost two heartbreakers this season. Texas and Texas Tech hold the edge over the state of Oklahoma. Since the Boys didn't do the job, guess the Sooners will have to.

It's too bad that Oklahoma State was NOT even competitive against Texas Tech. At least, we didn't have to hear Mike Gundy scream "COME AFTER ME!!! I'M A MAN!!! I'M 41!" in his postgame speech, lol :)
