Lost to number two. Impressive and Bradford may fill out an all Big Twelve Heisman top three.

The Sooners kept their hopes of a BCS appearance alive with a win over the weekend. Now they have to do what Texas couldn't do: Beat Texas Tech. But even then, they have to hope for Alabama to either lose to Florida or have Texas drop a deuce before season's end.

Adam Lindemer #4
Can score with anybody in the land...averaging 51.4 points per game.

The Sooners are playing some of the hottest football in the country right now. Last weekend during their 66-28 slaughter of Texas A&M the offense went from being the Sam Bradford air show to a real balanced game. The Sooners just need to get their special teams play together and we've got a definite contender. Look for the Sooners to come out strong when they host #2 Texas Tech on November 22nd.

See my Texas explanation... Better loss than Florida. Wins are every bit as good. I get the Gator love-fest, but don't see why they should be ahead of the one-loss Big 12s.

Matt Poloni #4
The Sooners have yet to play Texas Tech and their only loss is to the team I have ranked third in my poll.

Offense: 9.9 out of 10. Defense: 7 out of 10. Its put up or shutup time in Norman..the stars have aligned...two weeks of very good teams ahead is no cake walk..and Tech is down right scary and against a Ranked OSU on the road....Win out and Miami is most likely calling. Pollsters will decide it...SOS will be in the Sooners Favor at that point.

This offense has made opponent's Ds look silly.

Always consistently strong back lacks what is needed for the top. Even though they are always a top 5 team.

(previous: 5) 9-1; beat Texas A&M 66-28 Oklahoma is demonstrating in points what it can't necessarily demonstrate in words: "Hey, we're as good as the competition!" The loss against No. 3 Texas still counts against them as long as both teams keep winning, but the Sooners also have a tougher road to the end of the season: after a bye this week, they host No. 2 Texas Tech on Nov. 22, and travel to No. 13 Oklahoma State on Nov. 29.

Putting up numbers and points in bunches. One way or another- determine the Big XII south rep in KC on November 22.

After averaging 60+ points in their last three games, the Sooners offense should be welcoming a break. They return November 22 to host Texas Tech.

Jonny Solovy #6
Best and most balanced offense in the nation. They spread the ball all around the field and put on a clinic. The defense is not all that good though.

Jimson Cuenta #6
It's too bad that they play in the same division as Texas Tech and Texas. Otherwise, they would still be a legitimate threat for the National Championship.

Wiped out A&M

Dave Dewan #6
Their fairly decisive loss to Texas hurts them in my mind. Just like teams, No. 3-5 however, they are playing some good football lately.

Third in South pecking order tight now. Big game against TTU looms.

Brett Kettyle #6
With Texas Tech still on the schedule, OU has a chance to create a 3-way tie at the top of the Big 12 South standings. They will likely need to knock off TTU if they want to have a shot at getting into a BCS game

You get the idea they could be in the BCS Title Game with a little fortune.
