Mexico vs. Brazil: Live Streaming, Results, Scores and More

Brazil and Mexico will battle for the right to play in the finals of the championship game of the U-20 World Cup. Kickoff for this match is set for Wednesday, August 17 at 8 p.m. local time. You can catch live streaming of the game on ESPN3.com

Brazil will be heavily favored in this match as they are fresh off an exciting penalty kick shootout victory over Spain. Many people feel that Spain and Brazil were the two best teams in this tournament.

Brazil was able to win despite being outplayed for much of the match. Spain led in possession, outshot Brazil 26-17 and took over twice as many corners at 12-5.

Despite Spain's aggressive play, Brazil's stiff defense held strong and they were able to force the shootout.

Despite the favorite status, this semifinals game is going to be anything but a cakewalk for Brazil.

Mexico features an equally staunch defense, and they are flying high after an impressive win over host team Colombia in the quarterfinals.

Few people thought, myself included, that Mexico had the offensive firepower to hold off Colombia in the quarterfinals, but they easily proved all doubters wrong as they waltzed to a 3-1 win.

This match promises to be a brilliantly played defensive gem. I expect scoring to be light, and I won't be at all surprised to see this one come down to another shootout.
