When: Sunday, August 14, 11:00 EST

Where: The Hawthornes

TV Schedule: Fox Soccer Channel

What to Watch for:

Wayne Rooney is going to be tough for West Bron to control. He's coming off a red-hot trip to America and is on his game. His play is exactly where Manchester United wants it, heading into English Premiere League play.

Forward Shane Long will be making his first appearance in a West Brom uniform. He is getting dropped right into the fire, as Manchester United isn't going to make his inaugural match with his new team easy by any means.

Peter Odemwingie's ankle injury isn't going to help matters for West Brom. Even if they are able to keep the Red Devils attack to a dull roar, they may be unable to sustain a solid attack with a forward down.

What's at Stake

Manchester United is looking to repeat as Premier League champions. They are one of the most feared teams in the world, and sending a strong message out of the gate would be the perfect start on their quest to obtain another championship.

As for West Brom? What better way to start off the season than to knock off Manchester United? They might be underdogs in this match, but even coming away with a draw would let the Premiere League know that they aren't backing down from anyone.

Yahoo! Manager Quotes:

Roy Hodgson:  "We are very lucky in the Premier League to have people like Sir Alex Ferguson, and I would put Arsene Wenger in a similar category. What is it now? 15 years and Arsenal never out of the top four? These are people who are incredible ambassadors for the game of football and they are role models, if you like, for all the people coming underneath trying to start careers."

Sir Alex Ferguson: "We've got a doubt with Patrice Evra. He got an injury last Sunday; he missed the France game. We'll give him until tomorrow, but he is doubtful. Darren Fletcher's training very well, and he'll play in the Reserves on Monday; so will Valencia. Chicharito is still maybe 10 days away from taking part in any football training. It's not a concern; it's just a precaution given the fact he had concussion a couple of years back."
