Throughout the history of boxing, legendary trainers always surprised the public with their teaching techniques and intricacies.

From sucking on a copper penny to reduce a few ounces of weight, to filling a bucket with sand using a teaspoon, it’s simply astonishing what people can come up with to train the human body in a variety of ways.

In this video, world champion Wladimir Klitschko shows off his training method to improve punching accuracy. This is not only interesting but could actually be convincingly effective in training.

Punching tree leafs seems to not only provide a target but more importantly, gives you numerous targets from variety of angles and heights.

It's things like these that make up a big part of the art when saying that boxing is a form of it. Without such creative approaches, the human body adjusts to any type of repetition, mental as well as physical.
