Congratulations Florida Panther fans! It appears that the Cats will not have to be downgraded to a junior hockey club in order for them to get a win.
Yes, in a rare show of fortitude on this West Coast swing, the Panthers dug down deep and pulled a win out against one of the best teams in the league. They even went so far as to have young gun David Booth pull out his first career hat trick to cement a victory over the Ducks.
Much more impressive by far was the fact the Panthers decided they we're actually going to play hockey for the entire time that they were on the ice. A novel concept to be sure, but one the Cats haven't seemed to grasp this season. Even Jay Bouwmeester pulled his head out long enough to put in a solid defensive performance.
Whatever Coach DeBoer is slipping into their Gatorade he had better double it unless he fancies watching his team languish in the cellar of the Southeast.

We're going to send you the most entertaining Florida Panthers articles, videos, and podcasts from around the web.
