Kevin Garnet, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.

Three of the most dominating players in the game today.

People said they couldn't lose.  I told people that their bench was just not strong enough to go the whole season and stay hot.

Recently the bench has slowed down, forcing the Big Three to play more minutes.

For 35 games I had to listen to about how great the Celtic bench was.  It just isn't really good at all.

Every team has hot players and cold players.  The bench players for the Celtics started the season playing incredibly well, which brought the team to 30 wins faster than any other team in the league.

It seems, however, that the bench cooled off after the C's hit the 30-game mark.

I'm not blaming the Celtics, because it is very difficult to put together a strong bench when you have three perennial All-stars in the starting lineup.

People now wonder why they are losing, but it is quite simple.  Eddie House and James Posey are good players, just not the core of a solid bench.
