Holliday Is Out Of Coors Field

Jon Heyman has reported to WFAN today Matt Holliday has been traded to the Oakland A's.

The details for the trade have not been reported just yet. So I am not about to jump on the "Billy-Beane-is-brilliant" bandwagon just yet.

However, he does have plenty of chips to use to make this trade happen. I can almost guarantee that the Rockies are going to get pitching. They are looking to bolster their arms this off-season.

To all the Mets fans who wanted Holliday, you are not going to get him. Settle for what you have now. Minaya's focus is going to be on pitching anyway.
