Devin Harris Is Hurt

JerseySenior Analyst INovember 10, 2008

The Devils are contagious! They're spreading the injury love to their erstwhile New Jersey buddies in the NBA: Devin Harris is out for about a week.

Know why I love Devin Harris? I mean, aside from the fact that he's awesome. It's because when asked how he feels, he says he's 56 percent. That's right, 56.

So the Nets now have one player worthy of cracking an NBA starting lineup, only he's Vince Carter, so he's probably going to get frustrated really quickly, and start playing like he doesn't care. And when he puts up all of 12 points per game, he'll still be able to happily point out that he leads the team in scoring.

But hey, the Nets will continue to suck, and you know what that means: Lawrence Frank is closer to the door! What's that? I can't possibly blame Frank for this injury? Oh, you bet your ass I can. I can blame Lawrence Frank for a lot of things. And if I can't blame him, I'll resort to blaming Devean George.

Hey, at 2-3, the Nets aren't even last in their division, although they are below the Knicks, which is inappropriate. I'm still waiting for the axe to fall, but Frank continues to duck it. Although, to be honest, that's not too difficult for someone of his height.

Where can I comment?
