Young Gillingham striker Luis Cumbers, 20, has been recently linked with teams such as Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool. However, throughout his career at KRBS Priestfield, the young striker has only made 10 appearances for the Gills.
"The Wonderkid" has had loan spells at Maidstone Utd, Grays Athletic, and AFC Wimbledon. His blinding performances have got Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson intrigued as reports suggest that both managers have lined up a move for the Chelmsford-born youngster.
And after being previously interviewed by the young budding sports journalist Jordan Friday, Cumbers suggested that he was "deeply excited by the transfer rumours" and hopes that he can "work his way up into a Premier League first team position."
