Is Simeon Jackson Good Enough to Lead Gillingham to Promotion Glory?

Jordan FridayCorrespondent INovember 9, 2008

In my opinion Simeon Jackson is a player who can lead Gillingham to promotion this season. He has produced some cracking performances at Priestfield that have led to incredible results, such as the 5-0 win over Morecambe and 3-0 win against Grimsby Town.

Jackson is definitely a quality player for League Two; the standard of play thrown into different circumstances can make you lose to teams like Blyth Spartans (Shrewsbury) and Curzon Ashton FC (Exeter).

The Gills have relied on him to pick up a lot of their goals this season, and he has a lot of flair and is a real delight to watch on the pitch. Andrew Barcham has replaced him over the past few weeks as he hass been recovering from an ankle injury.

It's nice to see when your best players are injured, you've got someone like Andrew Barcham who can step in and do just as good a job.
