Manchester United has been dealt a hammer blow according to reports, as Manchester City has reportedly agreed to a 31million pound move for Wesley Sneijder.

Sneijder was subject to many a transfer rumor, many suggesting he was on his way to Old Trafford. However, Manchester United was unwilling to pay the transfer fee requested and now 'noisy neighbors' have taken up pole position in the race for his signature.

The deal would be worth 5 million pounds over a period of five years, but is not yet finalized.

The two Manchester clubs play tomorrow in the Community Shield.
