5 Most Difficult Regular Season Matchups on the Kansas City Chiefs' Schedule

Looking forward at the Kansas City Chiefs' 2011 NFL schedule, one thing stands out to me.  This season is not going to be an easy one for the Chiefs.  The NFL has laid out a difficult path for the Chiefs to make it back to the playoffs in 2011.

Since the end of the 2010 season, I have heard a lot of people say that the Chiefs are going to have a difficult time this season as last year’s success (a 10-6 record) led to a much harder schedule for 2011.  However this is not completely true.

The Chiefs 2010 success only determined two games on the 2011 schedule.  Had the Chiefs finished dead last in the AFC West in 2010, the only difference in 2011 opponents would have been the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals instead of the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The way I see it, there are two stretches of the season that could spell doom for the Chiefs in 2011.  I have previously addressed these two stretches of the season in detail here: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/780094-2011-nfl-schedule-the-two-toughest-stretch-of-games-for-the-kansas-city-chiefs

Today I am going to focus on the five hardest games that the Chiefs have in 2011.  Each of these games could potentially have a huge impact on whether or not the Chiefs repeat as AFC West Champions.
