The NFL's 40 Hottest Cheerleaders of 2011

0 of 40

Did you know that the Bears, Browns, Giants, Lions, Packers and Steelers don't have cheerleader squads?

I know what you're thinking—what sort of madness is that?

I don't know, but I do know that the other 26 teams in the NFL are represented by some of the most gorgeous women around.

Luckily for you, I've found 40 of the hottest ladies for this list. So sit back, relax and enjoy an American tradition as important as apple pie, blue jeans and obesity.

    Hot cheerleaders. Hooray for America!

Colts: Cassie

I'll bet Cassie is relieved Peyton Manning is going to be a Colt for life.

Let's describe ourselves. You start, Erica.

    Best word that describes you:

The best word to describe me would be colorful-animated-fun-energized-loving.

    OK, my turn: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

    I win.

I couldn't care less about the Seahawks, but I sure do love the Sea Gals.

Titans: Shauna

Shuana is here to tell you that it takes a lot of work to be a cheerleader.

What misconceptions did you have about professional cheerleading that have now been proven incorrect since you’ve been on the squad?

The time commitment! What everyone sees is the "finished product." They do not see the all of the time that we put into the preparation. We start our training camp months before the football players.

There are several topics that we must be proficient in before the season begins. From etiquette to media training. We must pass two assessments, maintain "proper physique," and shoot a swimsuit calendar. All before the first preseason game!

Then you add the weekly practices and appearances (charity and professional), oh and the actual game!

Redskins: Kelly

Kelly and I have something in common:

I am a natural comedian, and I love to make people laugh.

Well, almost. I'm an unnatural comedian, and I often try to make people laugh.

    Close enough.

Bills: Brianne

The Bills have a really clever name for their cheering squad: The Buffalo Jills.

Amazing. There is a marketing director out there somewhere that has a job for life because of that one.

Bengals: Sunny

Then again, the Ben-Gals may take the cake in the "Corny Cheering Squad Name" competition.

    Way to go, Cincinnati!

Thankfully for Brett (and men everywhere), she should have even more to cheer about this season—the Chiefs should be an exciting team to watch.

49ers: Elizabeth

The 49ers call their cheer squad "The Gold Rush."

This seems like as good a reason to move to San Francisco as any.

Panthers: Ashley

The Panthers cheerleading squad is known as the Topcats, and Ashley is the Top Cat of them all.

Sometimes, it's best to just let the pictures do the talking, am I right?

Redskins: Tiana

13 of 40

I'd give you more info on the beautiful Tiana, but her profile only says "Coming Soon."

It is moments like these that I am thankful I have a slightly different sense of humor than Michael Scott.

Cowboys: Brooke

Don't you love a good comeback story?

Most memorable game: Right before last season, I tore my ACL and miniscus which took me out of five games. It was tough to watch the girls perform because I just wanted to be out on the field so bad.

I will NEVER forget my first game back after surgery and rehab. I felt so blessed to return healthy and continue cheering on such a wonderful squad.

Colts: LeAndra

15 of 40

LeAndra is lovely, though I'm not sure I'd want to be deserted on an island with her...

Three things I bring to a deserted Island  Carmex!, camera and my teddy bear...JJ!

Off the top of my head, I would probably bring a hatchet, a water purifier and a box of matches, but a teddy bear would probably be fourth on my list.

I'm not so sure I would bring a camera as it might be a bit difficult to get the pictures developed. Just a thought.

She would make a really hot Storm if she ever gets her wish.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?

My super power would be to have the ability to control weather. This would be especially beneficial during the football season!

Maria loves long walks on the beach, staring deeply into the hopeful light of a full moon, and counting her blessings.

Actually, I made all of that up.

Aside from practicing with and hanging out with the 26 amazing and talented women on the team, Maria enjoys spending quality time with her fiance, family, friends and pets. She also loves to travel, bake, scrapbook, hike, go to church and do anything beach related.

Think you could keep up with her fitness routine?

How I Stay Fit:  Being consistent with a gym routine, kickboxing, self-defense classes and hot yoga. I combine that with a balanced diet, vitamins and keep my naughty foods (like chocolate cake and nachos!) at moderation. Dancing helps too.

Nikki lays out her perfect day.

A perfect day would be: A long jog on the beach, laying out by the pool at a resort, then heading to a spa for the works and a romantic dinner with someone special out on the beach! Oh, and of course a yummy bottle of wine!

Don't get your hopes up, fellas—by someone special, she was obviously referring to me and me alone.

    Sorry to disappoint you all.

Redskins: Sabrina

What top three things do you hope to accomplish in your lifetime?

I'm with her on two out of the three. I'll let you guess which ones.

Who do you admire most in the sports industry?
Billie Jean King. Not only did she achieve amazing feats in the game of tennis, she spoke out as an advocate of women's rights and equality, and her 1973 match against Bobby Riggs, dubbed the "Battle of the Sexes," captivated and changed the world.

    Well said.

What book are you currently reading?
The Universe in a Single Atom by the Dalai Lama.

    I think I'm in love.

Cowboys: Ashton

33 of 40

In case you were wondering, the Cowboys have the second-hottest cheerleaders on the planet. As an Eagles fan, it is the one thing I'm willing to give them credit for.

But other than that, the Cowboys suck.

(Every time I get the chance to write the above sentence, it makes me happy.)

Cowboys: Mia

35 of 40

It turns out that Mia is a Fathead. Wait, it's not what you think...

That's right, Mia is one of three current Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders of whom the sports memorabilia company chose to produce life-size posters, along with Cassie and Melissa, just another feather in the cap of the former rookie cheerleader heading toward the 2011 season.

"The first time I actually saw it, it came in and I wasn't home. We were in Korea for the USO Tour," Mia says. "My family has a tradition where we always take a picture on Christmas Eve. So they took a picture with the Fathead because they missed me, so I was kind of there. They sent it to me on Facebook."
