It is somewhat of a surprise to find Malcom Floyd still available after a week of the NFL free agency has come and gone.

Floyd was expected to garner plenty of attention from potential suitors in need of a solid No. 2 receiver, and the attention has not been as much as expected.

With Floyd being one of the best free agents still available, it is only a matter of time before he signed and taken off the free agent list.

Here are the top five teams in the running to land Floyd.

Arizona Cardinals

After obtaining quarterback Kevin Kolb early last week in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Arizona Cardinals have been rumored to sign a No. 2 wide receiver to compliment all-pro wide out Larry Fitzgerald.

Floyd is a young, speedy receiver and would help open up the field for Fitzgerald and vise-versa, creating a win-win situation for both receivers.

Floyd racked up a very solid line for a No. 2 receiver last season with 37 receptions for 717 yards and six touchdowns.

Kolb could find his comfort zone faster with the addition of Floyd—which could help his confidence having two talented receivers to create plays for, making the signing of Floyd as important to Kolb as it would be to Floyd himself.

Oakland Raiders

Jason Campbell and the Oakland Raiders are in desperate need of help on the offensive side, especially after tight end Zach Miller—who has led all Raiders in receiving over the last four years with 226 receptions for 2,712 yards—signed with the Seattle Seahawks Wednesday.

In this situation Floyd would most likely become the Raiders No. 1 receiver, as their best receiver in 2010, Louis Murphy accounted for 41 catches for 609 yards and two touchdowns last year.

In my opinion Floyd would mean more to the Raiders than any team on the market for a receiver right now simply because they lost their top receiving target in Miller and don't have any one player who can step up and be that definitive No. 1 receiver in the 2011 season.

Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are in need of a receiver who can step in and give newly acquired quarterback Donovan McNabb a legit target to throw to other than Percy Harvin and Malcom Floyd could very well be that person.

With the Vikings losing their top receiver Sidney Rice to the Seattle Seahawks last week, McNabb and company need someone to compliment Harvin to help create space for all-pro running back Adrian Peterson to run with.

Depending on how well Harvin starts out the season, Floyd could steal away the No. 1 receiving spot on the Viks, and could help ease in McNabb to the Vikings system of play smoother.

San Diego Chargers

With so much time ticking away since the beginning of the free agency period last week, the likelihood of Malcom Floyd ending up back on the San Diego Chargers increases.

The Chargers aren't prepared to pay him top-receiver money, and will not get into any kind of bid war for Floyd.

As more and more time goes by, Floyd's price drops, and really opens up the idea of Floyd returning to the Chargers even though it may have been the furthest situation form his mind.

Baltimore Ravens

Compared to the rest of the teams on this list, the Baltimore Ravens appear to be in great position to land the talented Malcom Floyd.

Floyd would do more than fill the void left by releasing Derrick Mason—the Ravens' No. 2 receiver—and would have the potential to to give the Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco another quality wide receiver to throw to, allowing him to develop his trust with the players.

Out of all the teams interested, the Ravens need him more than the rest do.
