According to an updated recruit list from Scout.com*, top-rated 2012 basketball recruit Shabazz Muhammad no longer lists North Carolina as one of his top prospected schools of interest.

In a post-game interview after an Adidas Super 64 game in Las Vegas, Muhammad was asked about the schools that were most heavily on his radar.  UNC wasn't among those schools.

The University of Louisville, which was also Muhammad's previous list, joins UNC as the only other school that didn't make the updated cut.  Schools that weren't originally on Muhammad's list but are now include Texas, Texas A&M and UNLV.

Muhammad paid an official school visit to UNC on Oct. 16, 2010.

Muhammad said he would "really start cutting the list down" after the AAU season.
