Last night on Monday Night Raw, CM Punk mentioned Chris Jericho's name during a promo about guys that WWE let "slip through the cracks" and couldn't re-sign.
After the show, Jericho tweeted back, "Everyone is so excited that @CMPunk mentioned me on Raw. Newsflash...I don't give a shit. Mind ur own business and stop rippin me off Punk."
Following the tweet, Wrestlezone.com reported from a key WWE insider that Jericho has been pitching himself to work with Punk at this year's Wrestlemania.
They also confirmed that the reaction is story-line oriented and there is no real feud between the two.
Ironically speaking, from my slideshow of Jericho's potential feuds, it's no mystery Jericho wants a piece of the Straight Edge Superstar.
Already scheduled for WM28—John Cena vs. the Rock for the WWE championship.
If that's any indication of a non-title feud, the "realism" can be utilized by the two, who are exceptional on the stick and in the squared circle.
Punk's new "creative pull" might have more of an effect sooner rather than later.
