Vladimir Kozlov has been hyped, but mysteriously was taken off of TV during his stints on RAW, Smackdown, and ECW. But he was taken off (much to the dismay of Kozlov), and he was given a second chance coming out with no entrance music at all.

He is seen as a very scary athlete, but the thing that makes his sudden push coincidental is the fact that all this week has been the showing of the Rocky movie, and yesterday was the showing of Rocky 4, which features Ivan Drago, the character frequently compared to Kozlov.

This may be Kozlov's time to shine as WWE Champion, following the footsteps of Nikolai Volkoff and Ivan Koloff, two Russians that had success in WWE. The man is strong, despite his very minor signature move which is called "Lights Out" (Scoop Reverse DDT) and he is very intimidating, using his headbutts to overpower anybody in his way. Kozlov seems to be fairly big main event material. He may be muttering to Triple H "You Will Lose".

Vladimir may be planned however, to win the U.S. Championship and create talk around the WWE universe if he fails on his quest for the WWE title. Winning the U.S. Title can be a perfect way to develop his character and cause him to rise up.

Kozlov is a big scary dude, but if WWE was smart they would base him more off of Rocky 4 as Ivan Drago, that way his main event status can almost be guaranteed. Kozlov the Moscow Mauler may be the next WWE Champion.
