NFL: 4 Worst-Run Franchises That Were Proven This Offseason
On the flip side, however, some teams showed this offseason that they really need a change at the top in order for them to be effective.
These teams are the worst-run franchises in the NFL.
Some will get me a lot of heat, but try to listen to my arguments.
Oakland Raiders
1 of 4Not only are they the worst team in the NFL, they are the worst-run team in the NFL.
I posted an article on my own website about why they're the worst team in the NFL and why Al Davis needs to step down—check it out here.
The Raiders pushed away their head coach and best player—so much for their 8-8 record last year.
Dallas Cowboys
2 of 4Are the Dallas Cowboys one of the worst-run teams in the NFL?
I'm saying yes, as the Cowboys really failed to land either of their two targets in Nnamdi Asomugha and Cullen Jenkins.
Looking back over the years, Roy Williams and Marion Barber were real disappointments, and this team still hasn't resolved the secondary.
Chicago Bears
3 of 4This is a football team that is very smart in some instances and just plain stupid in others.
The Chicago Bears dropped the ball this offseason, letting the heart and soul of their team (Olin Kreutz) leave.
Don't forget, either, that now they have a paper-thin offensive line, and they really failed to add any big-time playmakers for Jay Cutler (Roy Williams? Really?).
Also, why did they trade Greg Olsen?
Washington Redskins
4 of 4This is too easy.
The Redskins don't understand the concept of frugality and as such, get stuck with massive albatross contracts like Albert Haynesworth and Donovan McNabb.
Washington goes into 2011 without a franchise quarterback or true feature running back—there are some major issues here.
