NFL Free Agency: Jacksonville Jaguars Come to Terms with LB Clint Session
The Jacksonville Jaguars have found their second starter in three days at the linebacker position when they agreed with former Indianapolis Colt Clint Session on a five-year contract.
The Jaguars, who were 8-8 last season, added Session two days after they reached an agreement with Paul Posluszny on Tuesday. Both players will be able to sign their contracts at 6 p.m. on Friday and will be able to attend team meetings, but will not be allowed to practice with their new team until the collective bargaining agreement is ratified.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Florida Times-Union, the deal for Session is said to be worth $30 million with $11.5 million guaranteed.
Posluszny’s deal is believed to be a six-year deal worth $45 million with a signing bonus of $15 million.
Both players were signed after starting linebackers Kirk Morrison and Justin Durant were allowed to test the free-agent market. The Detroit Free Press has reported that Durant will sign with the Detroit Lions. Morrison has not agreed with another team as of today.
The addition of both Session and Posluszny by Jaguars general manager Gene Smith and veteran holdover Daryl Smith give the team a new look in its front seven as they prepare for their first preseason game of the season on August 11 at New England.
The Florida Times-Union and ProFootballtalk.com both reported Wednesday evening that Session and Jaguars officials were negotiating a contract to bring the four-year veteran to Jacksonville, away from the rival Colts.
Session played in just five games last season. The linebacker had injured his elbow and missed 11 games during 2010.
Linebacker was only one area of concern for the team. Smith and team owner Wayne Weaver had said they would be strong players in free agency back in a January interview with the Times-Union and Weaver also went as far as to say if the team did not improve on its record and did not make the playoffs, the team would have a new head coach after this upcoming season.
Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio is in his ninth season in his only head coaching job in the NFL.
