One of the things that makes a wrestler stand out from all the rest is the way they decide to end their opponents at any given time in a match. Or, their finishing maneuver.
Obviously, finishers have been recycled time in and time out. It's not so much what move is being utilized, but how the move is being executed.
This is why certain finishing moves become staples in people's careers that no one else dares use out of 'respect.'
The following are the top 10 finishing moves in this era of women's wrestling:
It's a spinning back kick that Mickie James makes look oh so deadly.
Sometimes she'll daze you with a kiss beforehand, and other times she'll just settle for kicking your head off.
Eve's moonsault would've been ranked higher, but sometimes she lands on her knees first and it looks awkward!
But when she hits it like the video to your left? It looks simply flawless.
Mickie put a good spin (literally) on the DDT by jumping as high as she can and sending her opponent's weight crashing down on their head.
It's a pretty hard move to take, as seen by some of the horrible selling in the video to your left.
Very devastating, nonetheless.
Michelle kicks the ever-living crap out of people with this move.
Simple as that.
Eve has a great, ever-expanding moveset. So it's a no-brainer that she end up on the list twice. Especially when she uses a deadly maneuver such as this one!
Eve puts her opponent in suplex positioning, but instead spins downwards and drives her head into the mat via swinging neckbreaker.
Alicia pretty much just takes her opponents out by driving her leg into the back of their heads. Doesn't sound too powerful, but again, it's the execution that counts.
With this move, Melina climbs onto her opponent's back and traps their arms with her legs. She spins into a sunset flip/powerbomb that takes the back of their heads down hard to the mat.
With this guillotine-like maneuver, Gail Kim basically pulls her opponent's head's down into her foot. It looks pretty nasty in action.
This move starts out in a chicken wing and ends with Beth sending your face into the mat wheelbarrow-style.
No one wants to go through that ...
This has to be the most impactful move a Diva's used this era. It looks absolutely devastating, and it's kind of ironic that it was already made famous by one AJ Styles.
I, for one, think Michelle hits it so, so much better than he does.
I hope you all enjoyed the list!
But now I want to know what your favorite women's wrestling finishers in the WWE are!
