This team has talent, Al Jefferson is one of the best big men in the game and he out performed Tim Duncan last night in a losing effort.  Mike Miller can shoot the lights out and so can McCants.  Kevin Love has played well, even on defense so far this year, he is rebounding with passion and blocking shots, which lets be honest is a big surprise.  Gomes is the ultimate team mate and glue guy and does anything he is asked, Corey Brewer has been a nice surprise, after looking like a bust last year he is shooting a higher percentage and playing very good defense.  Telfair, although he fouls a lot is a solid backup, change of pace point guard, he had ten dimes last night.  Randy Foye on the other hand, better turn it around quick, he is one of the things holding this team back right now, he is shooting around 25%, gets a few assists but turns the ball over way to much, he is playing with zero confidence, and that is hurting the entire team when it is the starting point guard.  This proves, if he does not turn it around soon that he is a 2 guard in this league, not a point guard.  He has talent, that is undeniable, but he better start making good on that talent.  Perhaps the biggest thing holding this team back is the coaching.  Randy Wittman is a perennial loser, wherever he goes and coaches the team loses, so why hire him?  His offense is well, offensive, it is stale and un-creative, everybody stands around and waits for Jefferson to shoot or pass, and when he is not on the floor the team is lost.  He babies his players and they do not grow, and for a young team that needs to develop individually and together, he is the wrong coach.  I think he was hired, to be fired and buy more time with the fans for the rebuilding of this team.  The team has taken some good steps for rebuilding, but they need a defensive minded coach to develop these players, a touch guy who pushes them every night.  My advice for the inept Timberwolves front office, FIR RANDY WITTMAN AND THEN FIRE KEVIN MCHALE!
