Hopefully no Cowboys fan will be seeing this photo in real life ever again. Tony Romo returned to practice Wednesday after setting out the last three weeks with a broken pinkie.

The Cowboys went 1-2 during Romo's absence. The offense struggled without Romo behind center, failing to score more than 14 in a game.

Romo should return after the bye week to face the Redskins. The Cowboys are 5-4 and need a win to keep pace with NFC, which has dramatically transformed in to the better conference.

The Cowboys also expect cornerback Terence Newman, left guard Kyle Kosier and speedster runningback Felix Jones.
