Last week’s Dark Horse was rookie Tim Hightower, with his first 100-yard career game, and this week it is a trio of rookies that lead the pack. Find out who they are and who was able to make the cut for this week's Dark Horses.

Jamaal Charles, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Without Kolby Smith and an inactive Larry Johnson, the Chiefs relied heavily on the rookie and he produced.

He average 6.0 yards a carry and had 108 yards on the ground against a very good Buccaneers defense that only allows opponents an average of 3.8 yards a carry.
With the improvement of Tyler Thigpen over the last two weeks, Charles should continue his success in Week 10.

Prediction: 19 carries for 117 yards.

Ryan Torain, RB, Denver Broncos

With running backs Andre Hall and Michael Pittman out for the year, and Selvin Young a game-time decision, Torain will get the bulk of the carries this week.

He was definitely a fantasy sleeper earlier this year before his injury, and now he will show his talents on the field. Cleveland comes in to play ranked 27th against the run and is allowing 148 yards a game. Look for the rookie to have a great day.

Prediction: 16 carries for 93 yards and one touchdown.

Kevin Smith, RB, Detroit Lions

Although he did not get the start on Sunday, he is becoming the most reliable back in Detroit. He has managed to rush for at least 50 yards in his last four games, and this week he will face a Jaguars’ defense that is giving up 4.5 yards carry on the ground.

Smith is a very solid player and should reward his owners with a great day.

Prediction: 21 carries for 108 yards with three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown.

Brady Quinn, QB, Cleveland Browns

It is now Brady time! He has been given the keys to the car and it is time to take the car out on the field. He could not have asked for a better situation for Quinn first start.

He will face the Denver Broncos at home that rank 26th against the pass and will be without...
