At the GM Meetings this week there has been whispers about the Cardinals trading Ryan Ludwick to Atlanta for either Kelly Johnson or Yunel Escobar.  It is believed that Atlanta is leaning towards giving up Kelly Johnson in return incase there is a chance the Braves trade for Jake Peavy.  This deal would fill the void at second base for the Cardinals while Atlanta would provide another power bat from the right side.  As rumored to possible replace Ludwick is Rick Ankiel for either Johnson or Escobar.
