Liverpool Transfer Rumor: Reds About to Sign Marco Bueno?
According to fan website kopthat.co.uk, Liverpool will soon announce that the transfer of Pachuca forward Marco Bueno has been completed.
The Mexican forward is just 17-years-old and would surely not see much first-team action at Anfield in his first season in England, but the club must have been encouraged by scouting reports it has compiled and also by Javier Hernandez's extraordinarily quick adaptation to the rigours of Premier League football.
Apparently, Bueno is due into Liverpool for a 10-day trial and, if successful, with sign a five-year professional contract with the Reds.
The player himself has expressed his excitement at the possibility of switching from Mexican youth football to one of the world's biggest clubs. ''I will have to face it with great motivation and the commitment of representing [my] country in the best way, with the faith that it can be achieved'', Bueno told record.com.
Bueno has also spoken of his desire to emulate his hero, Fernando Torres, but should be wary of the harsh reality faced by young Spanish forward and soon-to-be teammate Dani Pacheco, a promising 20-year-old Spanish forward, who has struggled to break into the Liverpool first-team ahead of star strike duo Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.
