Carlos Beltran has been on the Braves' radar for quite some time, but a potential deal for him may be a long shot at this point.

According to Jayson Stark of ESPN.COM, the Mets "asked Atlanta for Mike Minor, Julio Teheran or Arodys Vizcaino. Atlanta said, 'No thanks.'"

If the Braves won't part with their top pitching prospects, they could very well hold at the trade deadline.
