The idea of Hunter Pence coming to Atlanta has lost some steam over the past few days, causing many to think the deal was off.

However, according to Dave O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Braves have not given up on Pence.

Having dropped off in the NL East race a bit as of late, Pence could be the surge the Bravos need to chase down the red-hot Phillies.
