The best players from the NBA are heading east, far east that is, to battle the Philippine Basketball Association All-Stars on July 23rd and July 24th.

The NBA looks to be quite serious about this as they are sending an A-list of players; no B-list here.

The cast of players the NBA is sending to the Philippines includes Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, JaVale McGee, Derrick WIlliams, Chris Paul, Tyreke Evans and James Harden.

Yea, no B-list here. The NBA is going all out with this one and you have to feel bad for the Philippine Basketball Association as they will likely get dominated by a far superior team that the NBA is sending.

According to the head coach for the Philippines, this exhibition game is going to be looked at as a warm-up for the 2012 London Olympics. That might not be a bad way to look at it considering the NBA is basically sending a lot of players that could appear in the Olympics next year.

Even though the Philippine All-Stars likely have no shot at knocking off the NBA cast of players, they should have a good time and it will certainly be a terrific experience for the players and an even better thing for the league as a whole.

The games can be streamed live on this Blogspot website.
