Huskers Will Be Competitive Soon

Big Red NetworkSenior Writer INovember 4, 2008

Like Bo Pelini, I'm not going to dwell on the Oklahoma game. I'm looking ahead. The Kansas game on Saturday is important for two reasons. One, a win against a division opponent instantly negates the feelings after a bad loss. Two, we're clearly facing the Big 12 North team that's number two next to Missouri. It's extremely difficult to catapult from a losing season to winning your division title, but what can be done in one year is move ahead of an opponent. Simple as that. In the mess that is the Big 12 this year, just moving in a positive direction to place yourself ahead of another team is a huge undertaking.
