Georgia running back Carlton Thomas has been suspended for Georgia's opener against Boise State.

His suspension stems from violations of team rules that occurred during Spring practice.

Without Thomas, the Dawgs will only have one running back (Richard Samuel) with any previous game experience when they take on the Broncos on Sept. 5.
