As you may all have heard by now, Sin Cara, whose real name is Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, received his first strike for violating the wellness policy, according to a WWE press release. Since this his first failure, he'll be suspended for 30 days, which is the routine punishment all WWE Superstars and Divas receive. Cara was tested positive for anabolic steroids.
It seem seems his kayfabe injury in last night Money in the Bank PPV was used as a way to explain why he would be gone in the 30 days of his absence.
For those who were crazy enough to miss last night's PPV, Sin Cara was power-bombed from the ring apron through a steel ladder by Sheamus. It was portrayed as a devastating, and medical personnel carried him to the back.
Needless to say, Sin Cara's future with the company is in question. Since coming to the WWE, his in-ring work has been littered with botches and he's seemed to not be meeting expectations by the fans and by the people who hired him. Now with this violation occurring, it would not surprise me if they do give him the pink slip.
If the WWE continues with Sin Cara, then he should work twice as hard to make up for his mistake. If the WWE does fire him, then it's Sin Cara own fault as he dropped the ball.
I'm not going to cry if Sin Cara does get fired, as he has this amazing opportunity working for the WWE but he screwed it all away.
