It appears that Jose Reyes of the New York Mets may spend his final day on the disabled list in Coney Island, Brooklyn.

The Mets shortstop continued rehabbing his left hamstring on Sunday morning, running the bases at Citi Field, according to the New York Daily News. After completing his workout, Manager Terry Collins informed the shortstop that he'll play in a minor-league rehab game on Monday at Coney Island.

The Mets' short-season A affiliate, the Brooklyn Cyclones, host the Lowell Spinners at MCU Park tomorrow at noon.

Reyes is expected to play the entire game. Barring any setbacks, he will likely be activated from the 15-day disabled list in time for the start of the Mets' series against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night.

Although Reyes believes he is healthy enough to be activated on Monday, Mets brass has decided to include the minor-league matinee game.
