After suffering a close split-decision loss to Mark Munoz at UFC 131, Demian Maia will look to rebound against fellow Brazilian Jorge Santiago at UFC 136.

According to MMAJunkie.com, the two middleweight competitors are set to square off in Houston, Texas in October, which is headlined by two title bouts.

Maia is coming off a loss to Mark Munoz that saw his two-fight winning streak snapped. Prior to his loss, he held victories over Mario Miranda and Kendall Grove.

Meanwhile after having a successful run overseas, Santiago came up short in his UFC debut against Brian Stann at UFC 130.

While the the matchup has not been officially announced, the middleweight bout has been added to a stacked event, featuring a lightweight championship bout between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard, as well as a Featherweight title matchup featuring Jose Aldo and Kenny Florian.
