In the latest edition of Where Are They Now: Wrestler Edition, we look at what former WCW great Sting is up to these days.

Yes, believe it or not, the 52-year-old former wrestling giant known as Sting is not only still wrestling, but he just captured his fifth TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Sting was competing against the defending champion Mr. Anderson, formerly Mr. Kennedy in the WWE, and he won with a little help from another former WWE star Kurt Angle.

Angle was dressed as a clown because Sting’s gimmick is that he is the Heath Ledger Joker from the new Batman movies. While the gimmick is late to the party with its cultural relevancy, the way Sting is playing it is an improvement on what he was doing before.

Mr. Anderson won the title at Slamiversary less than a month before losing it again, and it will be interesting to see what the loss means to his deal with the stable Immortal.

For Sting, it’s another chance to prove all the doubters wrong about his age and skills and prove that he is still one of the best in the business.

As for the rest of us who aren’t crazy, this is just TNA Impact wrestling pushing another over-the-hill star instead of one of the great young talents it has in its arsenal. Sting gets the pop from the crowd, and it’s the name Sting that puts the people in the seats, not the man currently in the ring.
