The Denver Nuggets are reportedly going to trade PG Allen Iverson for former George Washington High School standout PG Chauncey Billups and former Nugget F Antonio McDyess.

Iverson is in the final year of his contract and is due $21 million.  This deal brings home two former All-Stars with a history in this town.

Billups attended G.W. High School and took the Colorado Buffaloes to the NCAA Tournament. He also spent two seasons with the Nuggets before going to Toronto in the expansion draft.  He brings good character, strong work ethic, and NBA Championship experience that should bolster the Nuggets roster.

McDyess spent six years with the Nuggets and was a fan favorite.

The deal will also bring over Cheik Samb, the 7'1" center from Senegal who hasn't seen a minute of playing time this year.
