Paul Martin Joins the Long List of Injured New Jersey Devils

JerseySenior Analyst INovember 3, 2008

No. 7 is the seventh Devil to go down in only ten games this year. Apparently, Paul Martin is suffering from "upper body soreness." Wonderful.

So here we go again. The Devils are averaging nearly one injury per game at this point. They have more injuries than Dainius Zubrus has points.

The Devils may be cursed. I'm starting to believe the hype about the Rays' success being attributed to the name change. Seriously—they drop the Devil part of their name, and they win the AL.  The Devils maintain their name, and their entire team is physically falling apart.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: it's time to start rooting for the New Jersey S!
