Luka Modric Hands in Transfer Request as He Tries to Force Move

Just ten days ago Luka Modric was refusing to hand in a transfer request to Tottenham Hotspur citing that he wanted to honor his remaining time at the London Club.
However, he shocked Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy today with the submission of said transfer request. It appears the calling of Chelsea is to much to pass up.
After weeks of saying he was not for sale, it looks like the Blues could get their man for around 30 million dollars. Their initial off of £22 million was flatly refused, and a second offer of £27 million was rebuffed, but it appears that Roman Abramovich is keen on bringing in the Croation play maker to help rebuild the powerhouse midfield of his Blues.
It is believed that it will take at least £30 million to get him away from Harry Redknapp.
